Pemphigus Vulgaris
Pemphigus vulgaris is a rare autoimmune blistering disease characterized by painful flaccid bullae and erosions on mucous membranes and skin. It results from IgG autoantibodies targeting desmoglein-1 and desmoglein-3, disrupting keratinocyte adhesion. Lesions rupture easily, exposing denuded skin prone to infection.
